Multi-layer (composite) pipe consists of an aluminium strap made by the method of uninterrupted ultrasonic bonding, simultaneously covering it from inside and outside with layers of glue and polyethylene (polypropylene, bound polyethylene), which is intended for cold and hot water, as well as for gas pipelines.
- PE/AL/PE – for cold water; produced in hanks
- PEX/AL/PEX – for hot water; produced in hanks
- PE/AL/PEX – for hot water; produced in hanks
- PPR/AL/PEX – for hot water; produce in lengthes.
NewPlast metal plastic pipes are produced in accordance with the requirements of the standard ASTM 1281-2000 and ASTM 1282-2003 on the basis of which ТУ РА 39057507. 4903 -2007 has been generated.
NewPlast metal plastic pipes may be used in the following systems:
- economic and economic-drinking cold water-supply;
- hot water-supply.
- radiator heating with heat-transfer agent temperature not higher than 950C;
- hot-water floor heating (“warm floor”);
- water non-radiator wall heating (“warm walls”);
- open area heating (airport, football ground…);
- earth heating in conservatories, greenhouses, winter gardens and warmhouses;
- ties of ventilation hot water calorifers and thermal curtains with heat-transfer agent temperature not higher than 950C;
- fuel pipelines;
- technological pipelines for nutritional and non-food liquids, in correspondence with the table of chemical durability;
NewPlast pipes are characterized by:
• durability – 50 years of exploitation;
• withstandability towards corrosion and formation of fast bloom on the inner surface of the pipes;
• 100% protection against penetration of oxygen into the heating element;
• the lowest coefficient of lineal expansion and the highest durability against temperature and pressure among all polymer pipes;
• absence of shape memory – the pipes may be freely moulded without heat or special tools.
• possibility to connect to any type of systems.

The raw material for NewPlast production is granulated polyethylene of high pressure and polypropylene of leading European manufacturers.
The central layer of NewPlast metal plastic pipes are made from aluminium foil. It prevents oxygen diffusion into the pipe cavity (which is possible in pipes from any plastic), helps the pipe to preserve its form created during its installation and to reduce linear temperature deformations.
The discrepancy between linear expansion coefficients of aluminium and polyethylene puts high requirements towards the layer connecting gluing material as regards the inside resistance of adhesion to aluminium and polymer, as well as the flexibility, elasticity and temperature resistance. NewPlast pipe layers function as a single whole. The glue penetrates into the outside layer of polymer, possessing the feature of acicular interaction which accounts for its high adhesion.
Fittings
The connection of metal plastic pipes may be carried out by means of blooming, pressing and sliding fittings. All the above mentioned methods, in case of a high-quality installation, allow us to get a connection that is as durable as the pipe material itself.
The PPR-AL-PEX pipes are connected by PPR fittings. The connection method is the same as for one-layered polypropylene systems – reliable diffusion welding.
The material of the case and captive nut of NewPlast fittings is hot-pressed brass that contains 58% of copper, in accordance with GOST 15527-70. The lead quantity does not exceed 2%.
The galvanic covering of the brass allows protecting it against a great number of adverse influences of chlorine and ammonia.
The blooming ring is made from brass by means of cutting off the brass pipe with inner beading.
It is permitted to exploit the connectors without dielectric cushions and seal ring.
